RELEASE OF LIABILITY AND ASSUMPTION OF RISK In consideration of the services of the Sisterhood Sit-In (“SSI”), I agree to release and discharge SSI on behalf of myself, my family, including but not limited to my children and my parents, my heirs, assigns, personal representatives, and estate as follows: My participation in this activity is purely voluntary. I agree to abide by any and all of the GRT rules. I understand that failure to abide by these rules could result in the early termination of the GRT services without a refund. I acknowledge that the activities involved in using the SSI service entail significant risks, which could result in physical or emotional injury, even death. I elect to participate despite the risks. I expressly agree to assume all of the risks existing in this activity, both known and unknown, whether caused or alleged to be caused by the negligent acts or omissions of the SSI, its operators, or its owners. I hereby voluntarily release, forever discharge, and agree to indemnify and hold harmless the SSI from any and all claims, demands, or causes of action. I certify that I have adequate insurance to cover any injury or damage I may cause or suffer while participating, or I agree to bear all costs of such injury or damages myself. I further certify that I have no medical or physical conditions which could interfere with my safety in this activity, or I am willing to assume and bear the costs of all risks that may be created, directly or indirectly, by any such condition. I hereby grant permission to Harrietts Bookshop/Sisterhood Sit-In and its subsidiaries to use photographs and/or videos of my guests and myself taken during events hosted by the Sisterhood Sit-In or Harrietts Bookshop in publications, news releases, online, and in other communications. This permission can be revoked by written notice to the Sisterhood Sit-In Trolley Tours but will remain in effect until notice is received. I agree that the laws of Philadelphia will govern this agreement. Should the Harrietts Bookshop or anyone acting on their behalf be required to incur attorney’s fees to enforce this agreement, I agree to indemnify and hold them harmless for all such fees. By purchasing this ticket, I agree to the above terms.
